Right now, flowers are bringing more excitement than veggies do:
bush beans and kale are on their way out but we've eaten the first Japanese eggplants,
cucumbers, raspberries and blackberries(abundant this year as my plants bloomed between two major freezes.)
Waiting for my first tomatoes, most probably another two weeks and banana peppers in order to make my favorite Middle-Eastern salads.
Lilies seem to have bloomed earlier than normal but no complaints on my part.
