Unlike last year, we have not seen much rain this spring. I know that some places have received important thunder storms but we seem to have avoided most. This afternoon is no exception; I hear the thunder all around us but nothing here.
Last week, we ate our last snow peas and our first bush beans. The beans, "Jade" were a gift from my neighbor David who grew some last year and saved me some seeds. Blackberries and raspberries are slowly showing up, one here and there. With them, you have to be both hunter and gatherer!
Most of the pictures will still be of lilies since they're now blooming in force. One of my favorite right now is the "Turk's cap" named for reasons you'll understand when you see the pictures:
